my tesl days

Words cannot express how memories came running back to me when i read ritchie's invitation to the TESL 20 year reunion.A pretty big number actually...reminding us how time flies and how much we have left behind...our times together...all the tears and laughter.Being the first batch of TESL students in UKM...the so called students who were supposed to be learning "bahasa kafir"...as chanted by some seniors while we duck walking up the ibrahim yaakub residential area! All we had was each other, trying to make it through those dreadful nights of orientation week!
But Allah has been kind to us.Til this very day,as I step into Dr Imran Ho's office (our beloved most popular phonetic's guru of all times...though i still haven't graduated from that department!)...he will unfailingly describe us as the best batch among them all.The ones to be emulated, the strongest of them all.Why weren't we not? after all....we jumped the first hurdle...making way for the younger ones later to breeze through. so, ritchie, here's a tribute to you..a snapshot of the past but a memory that will linger forever. LONG LIVE TESL!

pyan, if you are reading this, what size was that?em>

thank you Allah

How i admire my dear friend D who...in a faraway land tries to struggle and continue her life after the demise of her beloved husband. One can only imagine how trying her life is....I begin to wonder what God has in store for me?! True enough... tests from the Almighty can come in different forms. Sickness, wealth, children, time...and the list goes on.My friend Nid, down south in Johor once told me..."i fear that wealth in itself can be test for me....a lucky lady who is married to a money-making hubby." I guess in life ...our dua and faith in Him is by far the best medicine.

Time really flies...they say. It's the middle of march now and i have only been able to put up my second post for the year. How failingly have i kept to my own words. taking the role as a mother can be pretty demanding and as has always taken the centre stage! Forgive me Allah for not keeping my promise but deep inside I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the precious times spent with my three twinkling little stars!just as nicklelodeon tells us...parents learn to play while children play to learn....
